Celebrate the holidays with EAPM

Celebrate the holidays with EAPM
It’s the holiday season. Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Solstice, Christmas, Kwanzaa, and so many other winter holidays are squeezed into the end of November and month of December. Friends and family tend to gather on these holidays. We share meals, gifts, stories, and give thanks for all we have.
At Equal Access Public Media, we’re thankful for you, our supporters who have helped us build our effort at a more accessible journalism industry. We’re grateful that you, too, believe news can be more inclusive and accessible to all people.
Share your stories
Every month you hear from us. Now it’s your turn.
We’d like to hear from you: How has EAPM helped you? Have you used the EAPM Style and Accessibility in your work? Has one of the stories in The Word affected you personally or changed the way you think? Has something EAPM done helped your news be more accessible or helped you bring more accessibility into your journalism work?
Tell us your story by emailing us at info@equalaccesspublicmedia.org.
Commit to accessibility
EAPM made its mission increasing accessibility in the journalism industry and in news.
We’re asking you to commit to accessibility with us. How? By becoming recurring donors at $25 or more. This donation helps us continue building the EAPM Style and Accessibility Guide, publishing The Word, and offering free seminars. This year, chief of editorial Stacy Kess spoke at conferences on accessibility training panels four times.
Your commitment continues this work into the future and helps us build more projects, like the a national news daily outlet. We ask that you commit to more accessible news now and into the future.
