Talking about news and accessibility

EAPM to host June webinar
At Equal Access Public Media, we want to set the standard for accessible news journalism. That’s why we’ve been hard at work developing the EAPM Style and Accessibility Guide. On June 18, we’re hosting a free webinar to launch the guide and to train journalists and news producers on how to integrate accessibility into their work.
Over 90 minutes, we’ll cover concepts like how assistive tech users navigate content, how to reach audiences regardless of their reading level, and why accessibility is essential to the public sphere.
Come to this if:
- You work in journalism or news production, or would like to in the future;
- You work in accessibility and want to learn more about the news;
- Or you care about inclusion and the future of our democracy.
Time: Noon to 1:30 p.m. EST
Register on Zoom and share the event with your colleagues on LinkedIn.
P.S. Get your brand or business in front of leading decision makers in journalism with sponsorship packages starting at $250. Email us at info@equalaccesspublicmedia.org, and we’ll get the ball rolling.
